Dear Mr Tomo , In regards to your recent post that bolt goes through and holds a counter weight with a Nyloc nut that bolt does not turn and should never have lock wire or any form of castle nut as suggested . If you have a concern it is far better to contact the manufacturer than have any form of advice from forums or advise you that could lead to the incorrect advice . Paul Goard

Titan mustang kit
Brumby Aircraft replied to dazza 38's topic in Aircraft Building and Design Discussion
Yes and know ,The RAA style is designed to be as cheap as possible therefore the Rotax will suit a range of people that can build a quality aircraft at a reosonable price . Once you step up to yhe V6 it adds cost as it is a very different inatalation . I agree it will sound much better though .It is important to cater for both markets we will run the V6 in the first one here . These are not really designed as a great aerobatic aircraft will get some pics up soon , Cheers -
Titan mustang kit

This one will be all pre fabricated and not quite as complicated ,Hence the carbon fire shell saves monthe of sheet work . These will be only done in kits with all components manufactured . -
Titan mustang kit

Jim does have one Titan mustang ,PG aviation is almost near completion of there two seat plug that will be a carbon fibre shell ,Chrome molly fueslage , And all components made on there CNC . It will have the choice of two engines Rotax or the Isuzu V 6 and is 3/4 scale . The Rotax version is designed to fit in the RA AUS registration and will have the same docile characteristics as the Brumby range of aircraft allowing safe flying for low time pilots . Those pilots requiring some thing with a bit more punch can use the V6 -
This is not a production aircraft as you can see by the rego its is a 19 kit aircraft that has been modified . A production aircraft is and aircraft that is certified through the manufacture and this is definately not . Even the engine was supples through Brumby for that aircraft .

New Brumby 610 High Wing
Brumby Aircraft replied to Brumby Aircraft's topic in Aircraft General Discussion
We have just sent out our first tail wheel kit which we can now offer ,However for genenral training market tail wheel is not suited .The new production aircraft are 300 mm longer and fitted with the Lycoming so we will keep you all updated Paul -
Hi All, This is just a quick note to provide some info on our new Brumby 610 high wing. A short video on some initial test flying is on YouTube at We are also pleased that we were able to get a cruise speed of 110 knots from the Rotax 912s engine in what is essentially a training aircraft. The 610 with the new Lycoming LSA engine is still on the production line and we are really looking forward to seeing how that engine performs. For more info generally here is the URL for our website: http://www.brumbyaircraft.com.au/ Thanks, Paul
