The impending 3G network shutdown
ClintonB replied to Freizeitpilot's topic in AUS/NZ General Discussion
My Cel fi runs best on 3G,I had coverage 99% of the drive from Tamworth to coast. When my phone died new one couldn’t use 3G, signal now poop. New Cel fi is $1400 for 5G model only 18 months after buying last one. 1st one when into my shack and went from no signal to internet on 4 or more devices at same time, it too will be obsolete when signal turned off. makes you sceptical why they can’t just be reprogrammed or reconditioned to work on new signal. -
Cessna 40 degree flap go arounds are not easy, even with an instructor sitting next to you, every move has to be thought about. Pretty easy to stuff up. 20 months without flying I need an instructor soon, bloody asic almost due and not even exercised, bfr are out on both RPC and RPL. I need some time, anyone got some spare to sell.

The way some people drive, the last thing they need is a giant rotating sword in front of them.

If they find it is, do they leave it there as a grave like ww2 planes, or try to recover it. I watched a video on History today where they found a us jet that went off a carrier of the Florida coast in the 60s. The cockpit had no visible remains, but the parachute survived. One sailor has come up with footage from the day on a usb now. It clearly shows the damage as it happened, one of the crew’s helmets can be seen in the busted cockpit. His son’s were shown the wreckage and the footage to try and help bring closure.

Is social side changing as well, and will we still all be users swapped over or have to sign up again? this is still my best escape from the daily grind and my only social media that I use.

Hydrogen-powered 'flying car' to be used in emergencies
ClintonB replied to red750's topic in AUS/NZ General Discussion
In more remote places that could be 20 plus houses. I know roads cost a lot to upkeep, but how practical is a machine such as this. I still doubt they could handle storms and bad conditions any better than conventional helos and fixed wing aircraft. -

News said 2 different direction runways being used, so may be an intersection collision, and missed calls. sad for all involved, crew and emergency services. -

Does anyone know if the 2 seat will get a bigger jet or 2 of them for the increase in weight of load, and possibly more fuel? could you build a longer wing and get extra lift Nev is talking about for load and higher flying. -
Hi OME have you solved the DAME thing yet, I only just read forum on this. if you have trouble with finding one, Dr Kannerman in Tamworth at Northwest health is good, I was and again are a bit heavy on MTOW, he sent me for a simple test and had no worries about sleep apnoea. I answered questions about falling asleep honestly and it got me a few tests. It seems that working 16 hour days, then falling asleep watching tv in the chair to wind down is a sign of a sleep disorder, not just tired. Doesn’t pay to be truthful on those forms. cheers clinton
