  1. Yes - I'll be there on the Sunday in the Wish Flight Jabiru 24-5281 (www.wishflight.com.au) - come and see us (after 10.30am) - we'll be running a raffle for a flight in a Nanchang and a Cub. Proceeds to Make-a-Wish.
  2. Please take a look at our web-site http://www.wishflight.com.au to find out about our Jabiru flight around Queensland in September this year, raising money for Make-a-Wish. An article on the flight appears in the August edition of the RA-Aus magazine. If you're in Queensland and want to catch up with us at one or more of our stops, we'd be really pleased to see you. We're also arranging a fly-in (landing fees waived) to Palm Island on Saturday 12 September (further details from [email protected]). The fly-in is supported by the Palm Island Aboriginal Council and includes transport to/from the township for a BBQ lunch. For those of you in SE Queensland, we're setting off from Caboolture on Monday 7 September at 9am and we hope to have a crowd to give us a good send-off. For further information please see our web-site or contact me at [email protected] It would be great to get the aviation community behind this worthy cause!
  3. Thanks for the video - a great day out - I hope to do that again sometime. Cheers.
  4. I flew in last Sunday (13 April 2008) in a Jabiru J170. All the details on the web-site (see vme's post) appear correct still. Landing fee is usually $20 into an honesty box. If you get a few planes in, as we did, a cheaper rate can be negotiated. There's a 5 minute walk to the gate to meet a taxi if the gate's locked. There's a ten minute taxi ride into Hastings Street. ERSA has little detail. More information can be found in the Queensland Country Airstrip Guide. The Guide shows the strip (11/29) length as 850m. For some reason it doesn't mention that 11 is R/H and 29 is L/H circuit, but this is noted on the web-site.
