1. Hi, a rather long winded and off topic way of showing some photos of the An 124 arriving in Karratha last week. It's on my blog at http://topbirdsandeveryfing.typepad.com/top-birds-everyfing/ if you are interested. We've had quite a number of visits from the Russians lately and always draws a crowd...
2. An Ilyushin Il-76TD-90VD arrived at Karratha this weekend carrying a large thing which required several cranes and large forklifts to carry it. Photos are on my blog at http://topbirdsandeveryfing.typepad.com/top-birds-everyfing/
3. Back in 1987 I went to Cardiff Airport to fly the Firecracker for flying training in Downunder for the NSCA. We also saw the Fieldmaster and Freelander and met Desmond Norman. Some of the photos are on my blog at: Top Birds & Everyfing
4. Another AN 124 has been to Karratha December 1, 2012 can be seen on my blog at: http://topbirdsandeveryfing.typepad.com/top-birds-everyfing/ Regards Chris
5. Hi Everyone I'm after information about birds flying in IMC for my blog. I'd be particularly interested in any reports of bird strikes in IMC, at night and at high altitudes, whether IMC or VMC or just sightings at high altitudes. I have posted some articles on my blog about bird navigation under the "science" link which is about whether birds can steer by compass, by the stars and some theories about long distance navigation. My blog can be found on: http://topbirdsandeveryfing.typepad.com/top-birds-everyfing/
6. On a recent trip to New York City I found this aircraft right in the middle of the city where I didn't expect to find one. It can be seen on my blog at: http://topbirdsandeveryfing.typepad.com/top-birds-everyfing/ Only in the Big Apple!
7. Some photos of the AN 124 at Karratha on my blog at http://topbirdsandeveryfing.typepad.com/top-birds-everyfing/ :biggrin:
