Hi @BirdDog can you advise more detail on what you were doing to get that error...thanks

Exactly what I said. Just go to preferences, and try and make a change and save it! I get that error, and I am not getting any email notifications at all.

Cheers

John

The Alerts error that some are experiencing is not happening for me so I have to look further into it for you

For everyone, especially @BirdDog and @FlyingVizsla and @Downunder please note that the error you received when changing your Alert preferences has now been fixed. It was caused by some extra code that I had placed in there which I have now removed and will need to check what I was doing wrong but all fixed now...sorry about that

Thanks Admin!

Any reason I would still not be getting any email alerts? Checked SPAM, nothing there. Is there any way you can check that mail is actually being sent?

I decided to check the plain english forecast & it all works up to the point of translate. The translate window opens but is blank. I am using Windows 10 with Google chrome as the browser

Ian is haemorrhaging money in order to keep this site a viable asset . You , I, and Ian alike can’t sustain those losses . I congratulate him in exploring all avenues to provide us all with this valuable place . Yes it’s changed again , the alternative is no site at all . If you “ can’t take any more “ , then I say goodbye .

What links are broken...please advise. I or Ahmed can fix anything as long as we know what is broken (apart from myself :roflmao: )

All is fine. It should be obvious that new software has different URL references so just edit the settings in your browser if you use Rec Flying as the home page, have it as a bookmark/favourite or require it on browser startup. Simples.

OME, click on your avatar at the top of the side menu, click Account Settings, then click Notification Settings on the right of the screen and you can set all your notification settings that you want. You now get a vast list of options to suit your needs
