Grumman-American & Gulfstream American Info

For those who might have questions about the AA-1 series, AA-5 series and GA-7 aircraft, I thought I'd post the following resources.

American Yankee Association is the USA owners' group and has a variety of digital resources related to ownership, maintenance and flight operations. You will find them at: http://www.aya.org/s/358/index.aspx

The 'message list' that hosts Q&A for these aircraft and which seems to contain the largest knowledge base of Grumman experts is the Grumman Gang.

-- the archive of their daily Q&A and discussions, with a simple search engine, can be found here: http://grumman.net/archive/

-- a basic website dedicated to this group's accumulated resources and member websites can be found here: http://www.grumman.net/specific/index.html

-- to subscribe to the 'Gangsters' message list, which delivers (usually, daily) email containing Q&A and discussion content, go here: http://mailman.xmission.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/grumman-gang

G'Day Jack,

Thanks for the info and a little nostalga for me at least... I learnt to fly in a Grumman Lynx, was a part owner in a Grumman Cheetah and also hired Tigers a fair amount and actually got my initial twin endo in a Cougar.. Although I haven't flown a grumman in years, still got a soft spot for them.
