So this is how to leave the Socialist Republic of Victoria - it will cost any of you Mexican refugees without wings plenty of $$$$$$ - Upon cash being delivered I will put a X on the map and send it to you with a time to pick up. Who said people smugglers in Australia cant beat the system.I might be looking for a helpful person who might accidentally fly over the border, land and ask for directions and being aviation safety conscious I would have to hop in and fly with you for precise directions to Queensland...it is very dangerous for a pilot to get lost
Gotta luv Arlo GuthrieKlinger was way more sane, and they were correct to ignore his drag outfits. This guy was crazy before he joined up. I imagine his recruitment was like in the Alice's Restaurant song. ( where both the recruit and the recruiting officer-psychiatrist finish jumping up and down together )
It couldn’t be clearer, so let’s cut the BS flying is not allowed. Some clever people thought they’d push the meals boundary and were fined $25,000. We’re in the position we are because people pushed the boundaries.Jokes aside, can anyone point me to any guidance material regarding what specific limitations currently exist for a Melbourne based flyer. The 'four reasons to leave home' rule is probably the biggest hurdle, although based on other allowable recreational activities, it is not exactly clear. I'm guessing that a recreational flight that takes you beyond the metropolitan lockdown zone is not acceptable.
Any thoughts, preferably backed by government guidance material or specific rules are welcome...
That logic would justify paying a commercial pilot to fly your aircraft (i.e. work). It does not mean you can fly it yourself. The airspace is not closed. If you have current M/R in force then your A/C needs to be kept airworthy which would mean the engine is to be kept in serviceable condition, IE operated.
As long as you don't need to get out of the aircraft away from home, i.e. it would probably work for Lindsey Fox or anyone else with an airstrip at home, but if you need to go to a public airport, no go.Can I get out of the house and just go for a drive?
Yes, however this can only be undertaken within metropolitan Melbourne or Mitchell Shire, and should not involve leaving your vehicle for any purpose except for the four reasons (shopping for necessary goods or services, care, caregiving or compassionate reasons, exercise, and work or study).
