It has a wider cockpit higher cabin and more leg room. The aircraft is made from composite materials. Its 8.12 m (26.6 ft) span wing has an area of 8.04 m2(86.5 sq ft) and mounts flaps. The standard engine available is the 80 hp (60 kW) Jabiru 2200 four-stroke powerplant. The design was developed into the Jabiru J170, by adding the wing from the Jabiru J430, for the light-sport aircraft category.
