Biography of Harry Purvis.  Born in Australia 1909, he met Charles Kingsford Smith and began a flying career that spanned almost 50 years and 25,000 hours as a barnstormer, member of a flying circus and Airline pilot.  During WWII he served in the RAAF rising through the ranks.  1951 with P.G. Taylor he made the first crossing of the lower Pacific to South America.
