deadstick Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Hello was wondering if anyone has purchased a Dynon D10A from anywhere and if they have a price as I am thinking of buying a Jab and it has the option 1 dash with no AI or DG so was thinking of retrofitting one of these units. Thanks
Guest basscheffers Posted May 10, 2010 Posted May 10, 2010 Horsham Aviation Services Home Page is the Australian distributor. Or buy direct from the US. (Aircraft Spruce, Sporty's, etc.) If you want just the single unit and not hook it up to A/P servos or link to engine management, you can save yourself some dough and get a D6 instead.
vk3eod Posted May 11, 2010 Posted May 11, 2010 D10a I bought mine direct from Dynon in the US, delivered in less than a week. Great people to deal with and great service. I have it in my J170 and it is driving a dynon single axis autopilot that has been approved by Jabiru. All works a treat. Paul
davyhl Posted May 14, 2010 Posted May 14, 2010 The D10A has alot more features than the D6. I find the most beneficial to be the wind vectors when talking to your GPS, not to mention HSI, OAT, TAS and Gmeter etc. A very impressive unit. I was worried about readability in bright sunlight as mine is in a Pioneer 200. No issues.. perfectly readable
