Jeff Foo
Thank Ian for the warm welcome. I'm from Singapore and landed here as a result of surfing flex-wing microlight. I contemplating on getting a private flying licence and would like some advice on this matter. I'm 62 with a family of 5 and my twin girls just started work with the air force in Singapore. I would like to introduce them to recreational flying. Thanks everybody in advance.
GraemeK
G'day Jeff, and welcome to the forums! They're a great bunch here .... I started to learn to fly when I turned 60, so it's never too late to start! So I'd say give it a go! BTW - good to see another father of twin girls on the forum! Mine live in Hong Kong. Deskpilot
to the forum and the world of recreational aviation Jeff. Apart from staging through, I haven't been to Singa's since the late 70's when I was stationed at Seletar. Absolutly loved my time there, when the Englishman was king, or at least, lived like one. Not so now I hear. All to do with the amount of money one has, or not. I lived in Ripley Crescent, Serangoon Gardens. Any where near you?
