Hi to all

 

I live on the Sunshine Coast and have been flying GA around this region for the past 20 years.

 

I have only recently become involved with RA, and I'm sorry that i had not done so earlier.

 

The whole RA scene is an amazing phenomena. I firmly believe that without the very strong move that is occuring into the RA scene, "general aviation" as we know it would have surely dissappeared.

 

My son has recently "gone solo" with Pro Sky at Gympie Qld. He is flying a Technam Golf and really enjoying it. Pro sky run a very proffessional operation.

 

I also have made the tranition to RA and enjoying it immensly.

 

My son and I are taking a Tecnam Echo to the RA- Aus northern region flyin to Monto on the 12th of June.

 

I'm looking forward to meeting a few more likeminded aviators over a beer during the event.

Welcome to the forums. They are a really friendly lot and I must say I have learnt heaps from the discussions and found some niffty things through other's research. So glad to have found it.

 

Husband & I are also going to Monto, so we will try to catch up then. We were planning to bring the Karasport, C152 and Lightwing but so far only the Lightwing (flown by someone else) will be getting there. The vehicle wedged in front of the Karasport trailer seized its gearbox so it is now a horrible job getting it out to get to the trailer. Still a faint glimmer of hope for the C152. Unfortunately we're coming off night shift but plan to be there Friday night (have to check the program). Will be good to put faces to names. We are camping at the airstrip.
