horsefeathers Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 After doing a full stop landing, my instructor said "Right - I'm getting out now - see you back at the terminal" Whaaaaaa...????? Well, suppose you gotta do it sometime, so I closed the hatch and did my first circuit SOLO!!!! And a bit of a bonus, it was one of my nicer landings. A BIG thanks to my instructor Jennifer from Suncoast Cooloola.
kth_logan Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Congrats Horsefeathers Well done on your first SOLO it is quite an experience. Something you will not forget for a very long time, may be never forget it.... Enjoy the feeling. It is a funny feeling when you realise you are alone and it is all up to you. Your Instructer know you competencies and skill or she would never have let you attempt it. It is also a good feeling for the Instructer to see one of their students acheive this milestone.. Well done...
Guest Howard Hughes Posted June 4, 2010 Posted June 4, 2010 Nothing like the thrill of the first solo, CONGRATULATIONS and happy landings!
