• Sonerai 2L Departure from Monto, Qld Nor-Aus Recreational Aviation Australia flyin. Not great quality video but I hope captures the spirit of this fantastic machine on take off out of Monto Nor-Aus Flyin on Sunday morning. I wan't one!!! Good stuff, it was a great machine! Nice to see it take off.

Nice video winsor68, I saw that machine at Jacobs Well the other day and admired it too. I understand it has a 912 up front and has been tweaked aerodynamically, it holds 4 speed records. Top speed is supposed to be over 170kts!

Here is some more pictures of the aircraft. The first one has the list on the side of records... I thought they referred to the design of aircraft not this particular one... Wow! I am impressed.

 

It certainly went like a scalded cat!
