I am remindered of a crash of a plane departing YBK back in the 80's.

 

An aircraft departing to the west came down onto an ex vinyard at Chipping Norton.

 

As I remember, the plane had engine problems shortly after take of, the pilot attempted to land on the vinyard, hit the top of a tree, crashed & burned.

 

The report in the crash comics stated it had been refueled with avtur instead of avgas.

 

This was my first thought when I heard of Casula.

It would not be the first time a refueller has seen the turbo sticker on a cowl and topped up with jeta1.

Yeah, putting the wrong fuel in would not help.

 

And because of the explosion, there probably wouldn't be much left to see what was put in. Unless they do a forensic analasis of something which had direct exposure to the flame and see what they can find.
