Ok, we have a big fog here this morning so found myself surfing the web, I found this interesting article. Whilst it is not "recreational" it certainly gives an insight to how RPT operates (particularly in the eastern bloc) if you sit in the pointy end.

Been fog bound here too. Sunday we had six aircraft ready to fly to Wagga Wagga, but alas the fog didn't lift till midday on Mondaythumb_down Wagga had BKN0100 and someone made a joke about having someone fix the broken cloud. Well it was fixed and became OVC0500'.

 

Got up for 3/4 hour this evening, but the vapour is gathering again.

Only fog we had here recently was at night sunday two weeks ago. Fog came in at about 4pm. Was really really weird.
