Saturday at Caboolture.

Just some of the aircraft sitting around, P51 Mustang looks nice sitting out, the Cessnas are some of the various ones I'm flying. (not all there when I had my camera out)

Also saw quite a few Parachute drops on the field, didn't have my camera out unfortunately, but certainly a variety of flying objects about. Including gliders everywhere.

Helicopter doing Auto rotations above the field was pretty cool to watch.

Neil took me for a fly in the Tecnam Echo, thanks for letting me drive. Interesting aircraft, and very forgiving. Photos around the Glass house mountains.

The De Havilland DHA-3 MK 3 (built in 1952 I believe) turned up after lunch, Its last ever flight someone said. A very tidy aircraft used in the RFDS Queensland section.

Hope you like them.

Looks like a good time was had by all concerned. I hadn't seen a Drover with horizontally opposed engines before, interesting. Is it going into the museum there?

You left out the most important bit, how are you enjoying flying the Cessnas and GA procedures?

Hey Spin, I heard the Drover's at Caboolture for decommissioning and then going to a NZud museum- sounded strange that an Aussie Icon would go across the pond, but what would I know!031_loopy.gif.e6c12871a67563904dadc7a0d20945bf.gif Anyway, she looked like a good looking old girl that if you sat down would tell you a few stories that would make a young boys hair curl:blush:- a true lady with the charm of "Nitingale"

Sorry Tomo things were a little rushed, the light was getting away from us for good photo's- but as usual you don't get too many bad one's- what can't you do?006_laugh.gif.0f7b82c13a0ec29502c5fb56c616f069.gif

Thanks Neil.

I had a good trip home, and it worked out well to wait for the sun to go down anyway so I wasn't driving into it.
