perthjay85
It appears that the Red bull air race has been cancelled for the entire 2011 season. all news articles are talking about the loss of money to the WA state which is very true but what about the loss of seeing a spectacular event for the people. Perth Red Bull race cancelled and all the other newspapers are saying the same thing over and over. but still no news on the RBAR website
dazza 38
Thanks for the information.I wonder, how this is going to effect the sponsors. They would have paid x amount of dollars for advertising, over all the original rounds. With some of the rounds getting cancelled, i dont think they will be happy.I hope things will be OK for next season. perthjay85
no probs, There is going to be some serious problems with the sponsors. whether they get there money back or not. but it really depends on what the exact reason is that its been cancelled for. yeah I hope they get it back on board for 2012 if they can't for next year. and I wonder if the city gets its money back because im pretty sure they have to pay for the rights to the air race. I wish I could find some more information but nothing as of yet.
Tomo
Yes, it's been running around the airwaves now for a couple of weeks, but I still haven't heard the exact details. Matt Hall's site has a bit more, but pretty similar to everything else at this stage.
