pudestcon Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 That pilot needs his a*** kicked.............. Yep you are correct GregF, There is no way I would even think about doing such a thing; it's not part of being a good pilot for mine. Nonetheless I can see the funny side of it, but not if I was the poor unsuspecting passenger. Pud
Tomo Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 I ain't flyin' with you Maj:laugh:Pud Think of the benefits Pud, really.... you know how to fly. If someone did that to me, maybe give them a hard thump in the back of the head, just to nock 'em out properly. Then it's all yours! Seriously though, I couldn't get myself to do something like that - to cruel.
Guest ozzie Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 i heard a funny story about an airforce instructor training in Tiger Moths. As a pre solo test the instructor would remove his control stick, wave it in front of the student and then toss it out of the aircraft. i suppose the theory behind this was to force the student to 'get it right'. One time a student got word of this trick and when the instructor pulled the stunt the student waved his control stick at the instructor and threw it over the side. the instructor then bailed out expecting the student to follow, but the student had tossed a spare stick he had stashed in his jacket and instead of following the instructor he circled around while he decended under his canopy waving at him.
