Spin Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 A few of the Boonah and Kilcoy lads mounted a raid on GCSFC at Jacobs Well this morning. Weather wasn't too promising, low cloud and a fairly strong wind, but some chatter, coffee and something off the barbie seemed to make up for it. Here are a couple of photos of the gathering, visitors as well as the local folk. EDIT: More photos in post no.7 Rgds Carl
Tomo Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 Awesome pic's Spin, that first one it posterable! (if that's a word?!) They look DSLR ish, what camera you using?
sfGnome Posted July 31, 2010 Posted July 31, 2010 That one of the Jab 5488 is excellent. Captured it beautifully.
Spin Posted July 31, 2010 Author Posted July 31, 2010 Thanks Guys, , still learning this photography thing, but I was quite pleased with what I captured. Tomo, I've got a 400D with the el cheapo package lens EF75-300, although funnily enough the first photo was taken with my work camera, a little Pentax point n shoot. Still saving for a 100-400IS, should serve me ok for aircraft and the birds at home.
sseeker Posted August 2, 2010 Posted August 2, 2010 Nice photos Spin. Got a questions, photo number 8, is that an RV6A? -Andrew
Spin Posted August 2, 2010 Author Posted August 2, 2010 sseeker, ya got me there, but CASA has it down as a 7A and I'm fairly sure the owner told me the same thing at some stage. I don't pretend to be familiar enough with Mr Van's toys to tell them apart other than the obvious nose wheel/ tail wheel and side by side / tandem differences.
Spin Posted August 5, 2010 Author Posted August 5, 2010 Found a few more, just in case anyone felt they had been left out. I think I have them all now..... Rgds Carl
