Spin Posted August 14, 2010 Posted August 14, 2010 Seems the climate over there is conducive to the little Bundaberg blighters breeding, have a look at some of the photos further down the page, post #7 onward ...AvCom • View topic - JABIRU JAUNT 2010 The battlefields referred to are in Natal, South Africa and include Isandlwana, the boot shaped mountain in one of the photos, where the British suffered their biggest defeat up to that time, at the hands of the Zulu army. This was the prelude to the Battle of Rorkes Drift where something like 11 VC's were awarded, still a record I believe.
