Guest burbles1 Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Access Economics has recently completed a preliminary study into our airfield proposal which is attached to this email. This report outlines the prospective demand for a second airfield and identifies some of the opportunities it would present in terms of economic activity and potential job creation in the capital region. The report can also be found on our website at Secondary airfield study. I suggest that you might like to read through this. The assumptions used in the report are conservative but compelling in terms of outlining some of the positive impacts a new airfield would have for the ACT. As a follow up to this study the Government has agreed to fund a further study into the airfield which will provide more information on the costs and benefits of establishing a new centre for aviation to thrive in the nation’s capital. Please feel free to distribute this report to those who you think might be interested in our activities and the growth of aviation in Australia. Cheers David Edmunds
motzartmerv Posted September 9, 2010 Posted September 9, 2010 Good work David. Keep us posted how things go.
Guest burbles1 Posted September 12, 2010 Posted September 12, 2010 Hi guys, Let me clarify - I received this email from David Edmunds (CRAA) and reposted it here for interest. I joined as a member of CRAA and have been following their progress as well as what's posted on this board. I don't think David Edmunds is on this forum. Michael Monck, CRAA, I think also follows the discussions here.
