cscotthendry Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Hi all: We recently travelled to Newcastle for some minor repairs to our trike. On the way back we stopped over in Yamba. We went out to Bob McIntyre's farm and flew from his beautiful airfield. I'f you haven't met Bob, he's a wonderful guy, very open and generous nature and he has a 1001 interesting stories to tell. Most people I've spoken to know Bob and I can say that he's really a great guy. If you're flying or driving past that part of the country, it's worth stopping in and having a chat with him. Anyway, you can see the videos we took.
denmit Posted September 16, 2010 Posted September 16, 2010 Bob McIntyre I can confirm Bob's hospitality to visiting flyers to Yamba (Palmers Island). I've flown in there twice, once in my Tobago and once in a borrowed Mooney 201. On both occasions Bob was a most generous host, even allowing me to leave the Mooney in his hanger for three days as he had a bit of space. Highly recommended, and if you have to wait for a passing rain shower, Bob will enthrall you with one of his myriad stories. He's a classic. Denmit
