I live in northern minnesota,usa and fly a mooney m20e and a savannah on floats.

 

Would like to know if others are experiencing oil-canning of the wing skin at lower

 

airspeeds. the factory said this is normal and not to worry but it does scare the

 

passenger when it occurs.

I'm the same, in that I cannot help with your question, but could I suggest that you would get a bigger audience if you posted your question in the "General Discussion" Forum and put the subject of your question as the Thread Title. Also, use the "Need Help" Prefix on the Thread.

 

This site attracts several hundred Posts a day and naturally, not everyone opens every post. It makes the question much more visible if people see it from the "New Posts" query, which is what many members use to see what's happening and choose what is interesting to read or relevant for providing assistance.

 

There's a bigger number of people will see it in that manner than in the "Just Landed" Forum with your name as the Thread Title.
