Deskpilot Posted September 30, 2010 Posted September 30, 2010 Tell me, how in Heavens name does one up-load a video. Do you have to go through a third party, ie, have your video stored on the web somewhere? I see that you have to include a URL address so that indicates to this IT illiterate that you do. If so, why? Why can't I just copy and post? Maybe it's an age thing but technology is leaving me behind.
Spin Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I think you've got it Doug; at the moment the only way is to upload onto a third party site like youtube and post the link here. I think Ian was talking about adding software to allow a direct upload, but that will obviously have major implications for hosting requirements and bandwidth usage - video is greedy in comparison to text or photos.
Admin Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 Have a look here at item 6c: http://www.recreationalflying.com/forum/announcements-site-news/104078-insert-images-attachments-your-posts.html does that help
winsor68 Posted October 1, 2010 Posted October 1, 2010 I was hoping that a Recreational Aviation TV Station was coming up soon... In the meantime you do it like this...
