Hi people just a short note to introduce myself, I own a Sapphire and am looking to buy myself another drifter. I am keen to start tinkering on my own project and am thinking about building a fully enclosed drifter

Welcome along Oracle, great to have you... and as you'll notice, there are quite a few of us privileged to be flying Drifters also.

 

Saw a drifter the other day that had full front and back cowls, first thing I thought of was prop cavitation, but couldn't tell you how it flew as no one was around to ask. I guess in winter it would be nice, but nothing better than the wind in summer! :big_grin:
