I always buy Aviator magazine.They promote All aspects of Aviation in Australia.Not like some other magazines.Great to see Aviator supporting this site.Great read.

Thanks Dazza! We reckon aviation should be all-inclusive and that definitely means powerchutes too (we have a particular penchant for powerchute pics incidentally ;0). So post you pics here and the winners will be reproduced in glorious technicolour. The closing date for this month's comp will be Friday 15th October. Sorry it's so soon but hopefully some of you guys will be able to dig out a few high resolution snaps!

Hey Simon, I too quite enjoy your magazine, and so does my brother - he always tells me to get that one!

 

This is an older one from Evans Head. "T28 Trojan"

Mooney Formation - Jandakot Western Australia

 

These were taken over Cockburn Sound as part of t wo ship formation practice flight. The weather was cooperative, as you can see...

 

VH-SJT is an M20J and part of the JATA Formation crew.

 

She scrubs up well!

Very nice Kev, I would battle to decide between 2 and 4 as my favourite - unusual angle, coupled with a moody sky.:thumb_up::thumb_up:

Hi Kev, all photos are great.Number 4 is my choice.I like how the sun lightens the underneath RH wing and Horizontal Stabilizer.The cloud formation looks great.:thumb_up:

great pics, takes me back to when I was a resident of WA and flying the mooneys...got a video somewhere of doing formation flying with similar shots:big_grin:
