Just wanted to say hi to everyone and say what a great site this seems to be. First please don't attack me for being a TSA officer, I'm just a working stiff trying to make a living.

started working on my pilots license about 20 years ago (man it is taking me a long time huh). Actually kids work and life got in the way and I had to give up my dream of flying. Now that I work at an airport every day and have to watch planes land and take off I have a strong desire to go for my license one again. I have no doubt about needing to start from the begining again.

So....if any of you have any advice I am all ears. I plan on using one of the private trainers at the airport where I work which is Gregg County airport in Longview Texas.
