Multi monitor thought.

Folks,

 

I have FS9 runing on XP.

 

The GFX card supports two monitors and I have had two monitors once before, but just now I am back to one.

 

A problem which has been bugging me is the GPS. I have hardware which supports controlling the GPS functions from buttons to make it more "real" but the GPS would clutter the screen.

 

The second monitor was good.

 

Anyway, I have just seen an advert:

 

Used 15 inch touch-screen LCD monitors. $59. Limited stock!

 

So.....

 

If I get one, and link the screens, then drag the GPS's screen onto that monitor, I can see/use the GPS and the buttons would work as shown on the GPS as it is a TOUCH SCREEN!

 

Yeah, I would have to connect the input from the touch screen to the computer, but I guess that is just a connection.

 

The person selling it should be able to help me, but I thought I would ask here too.

 

Anyone think it would be a good idea?

 

And yeah, I really need to get back into the SIM. I guess all this bad weather is a good reason/excuse to do more flying on the sim.
