pilotdave69 Posted November 8, 2010 Posted November 8, 2010 Just heard on radio scanner, 2 persons on board Glider Crashed - Bathurst - Pipers Airfield. emergency services on way .
pilotdave69 Posted November 8, 2010 Author Posted November 8, 2010 Looks like glider has run off strip on landing, so far both occupants are alright and being checked over by Ambo officers.

Exadios Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 It came down short - probably needed a tighter circuit. Suspected back injuries never sounds good for the long term but hopefully OK. I see that it is a DG-505.
kaz3g Posted November 11, 2010 Posted November 11, 2010 Report for story here. Pair Yes, I also hope that both occupants will come out of this with no permanent injuries. It would be reassuring to know that the investigating police actually had a background assisting them to understand the circumstances of the event rather than just checking for AoD offences and the like. kaz
