New guy in North Queensland

Hi Everyone,

 

Thought I'd drop by and introduce myself. I live in Townsville, North Queensland and have just started my lessons. I'm learning in a Skyfox Gazelle and have just over 7hrs under my belt at the moment. The Gazelle is a brilliant plane and I am enjoying my lessons fully!

 

I'm looking around for a plane I can buy after I go solo. Price is a big consideration and I am trying to save every penny I can! This forum looks like a great place to start and I'm looking forward to chatting with some new people that share my passion for flying.

Great to have you, and I hope you enjoy it all as much as I do. Friend of mine just got trained up there in the Gazelle, he's bought him a Cheetah, and has moved to Toowoomba now.

Welcome to north queensland and welcome to flying. Can't go wrong with a drifter for you're first aircraft. Cheap, safe and FUN. Try one at Charters towers.
