petetheprinta Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Hi All, Started on my Journey about 12 months ago at Gawler here in SA received my recreation flying licence in July (took me a while as I am 60+) endorsed on Jab 170 and now trying my hand on Jab 230. All Kudos to the instructors who helped me. Lots to learn still but I am looking forward to it. Purchasing my own 170 sometime in Dec Jan, depends when it finally arrives. Cheers Pete W.
Deskpilot Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 From one southerner to another, welcome Pete, enjoy the company.
Neil_S Posted November 20, 2010 Posted November 20, 2010 Hi Pete, Good to hear you got your licence at over 60 - hope it inspires other "mature" folk to go for theirs too! Happy landings Neil
Guest burbles1 Posted November 21, 2010 Posted November 21, 2010 Welcome aboard Pete. The 170 is a nice machine alright - you'll get a lot of pleasure from it.
