Guest rocketdriver Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Does anyone know where I can by fresh air vents that I can glue into a canopy? I want to replace some heavy and panel space occupying car type airvents on a KR2 which has a blown canopy (no truly flat surfaces I think). I've seen these types of vents in Jabs and Gazelles but don't know where to get tnem ..... they have a rotatable inner part that adjusts the airflow .... I'm hoping I could fit them into one of the flatter parts of the cabnopy .....
Guest rocketdriver Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Thanks Ignition,,,,exactly what I was thinking of ...I'll ask them if they can be fitted to a blown canopy ... TKU! RD
Yenn Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 I used Snap Vents from Aircraft Spruce, they just fit into a round hole and can be rotated to control the flow There are 4 different types in the currenc cattle dog all below US$14. No problem fitting them to my blown canopy.
Guest rocketdriver Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 cheers Yen ... they sound to be worth a look too .....
old man emu Posted December 14, 2010 Posted December 14, 2010 Rocketdriver How soon do you want them? I'm putting together an order from Spruce & Specialty. Your vents could piggy-back. Old Man Emu
