GDL Posted January 10, 2011 Author Posted January 10, 2011 Hi William. Actually I am not sure that angels don't hold us up. Like all good students I always believed my ground instructor. I believe it is never too late to look for angels. I flew as a check pilot with an 80 year old in his Cubby 2 (nice flying 503 powered plane). I trained a 78 year old (no age limits in Canada - just health). Kids can start at any age but can't solo until 14.
William de Riecroft Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Thanks for the encouragement GDL The only prob's I have are to do with health, plenty of enthusiasm but that does not always equate with safe flying, as an instructor you will be very much aware of that,I'm sure. Regards William.
William de Riecroft Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Hey,Pud,Have not seen the idiot around for a day or two (thank goodness).Asked about him, reply was "he went to have a look over the edge and just slid off in to space" So it wasn't just me.Very reassuring, I'm not going looking for him either. William

Guest clamar floats Posted February 2, 2011 Posted February 2, 2011 Welcome from Clamar Floats I'm a Canadian, been flying ultralights in western Canada for about 20 years, own a Rans S6S, and will be coming to Australia in 2012 for holiday and hopefully to take an Australia ultralight licence. Looking forward to flying at a time when when have few opportunities (right now it just finished snowing and the rains have come back with a vengeance).
