Hello, is it possible for you to remove all the sold items out of classifieds.

There are quite a few.

All items marked SOLD have been removed. It would make it easier, and avoid possible deletion in error, if advertisers, as well as adding SOLD to title of advert, to also add a comment advising date of sale. This will avoid confusion with other edits you may make, such as changing price. Your ID will show on comment as confirmation. Thank you.

Is it possible for me to delete a classified ad? It’s a ‘wanted’, but I no longer need the item and there’s not much use in marking it as sold.

I am not an admin but I know you only have about 15 minutes to edit the post then it is locked.

The reason for the time limit is, changing a post may make responses to the original post make  no sense. eg., if you delete something others have commented on, their comments will make no sense to other readers. 

 

If there is an error which needs correcting, highlight it and click on the "quote selection" button that will pop up. This will put the quote in a new comment, which you can then recant or correct. Alternatively, request a moderator to make the change for you. Mods have no time limit.

I would also  like to delete my Classified Advertisement - how do I do it?

You may not have noticed the significant number of ads, that when you get in them, the item has been sold.
