Hi all back from holidays and back into building ,things have a bit slow of late but the rain has let me spend time in the shed and not in the yard. finished skinning the bottom and the 2 sides today and will start on the rear deck tomorrow. Will post some pics. shortly, Will be buying a small lightweight battery drill tomorrow to use to debure as my existing 24 volt one weighs to much especially when you have drill and debure so many holes,,,,

Hi John,

How are those pictures coming along. 022_wink.gif.2137519eeebfc3acb3315da062b6b1c1.gif

Also, did you make a final decision on the Viking engine? Will Jan be making and engine mount/colwing for you, or would it be something you'd have to fabricate yourself?

Cheers

John, looks like it's coming along nicely. I've been following Viking Engines for a few months now and will be interested to see how the first few installations go.

Cheers

Looking good, it's at that stage when you can sit in the cockpit and make "Brrrrrrm, takka-takka" noises:oh yeah:. Must say I fancy your shed too!

Looks great John! I'm still tossing up whether to build the Sierra and the Zenith CH650, but I do like the idea of supporting Australian businesses.

Hi all,yes i have the colour scheme picked out bit hard to explain but the base colour is pearl with a purple {holden commadore colour} tail and wing tips with a gold flash down the fuse.meeting with the upholsterer {our club elpresendente} next week. The 650 was on my list but glad i went with the Seirra easy to build and being able to talk direct to Gary to ask any questions is a godsend.....

Cheers John
