dazza 38 Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 Nice Andrew, I think they could come in handy at Golf clubs and airports to scare Birds away.
flying dog Posted January 19, 2011 Author Posted January 19, 2011 Next question: Anyone living in Sydney wanna help me make one?
Deskpilot Posted January 19, 2011 Posted January 19, 2011 And just what are you going to do with it Andrew?
flying dog Posted January 20, 2011 Author Posted January 20, 2011 Honestly: Dunno. But it would be nice to have one all the same. :)
Guest ozzie Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 No, My plans don't include sitting in the slammer for 2011. I'll build mine up the bush, fix those three mongrel yapping mutts next door.
pudestcon Posted January 21, 2011 Posted January 21, 2011 Well you could just sit around and blow smoke rings Pud
rick-p Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 I remember when I was a kid, many years ago now, that you could buy from a toy store this bazooka (they were recalled within about a week of being released) which operated on high velocity compressed air. From memory you pumped it up with a leaver, but anyway we worked out that you could fire tennis balls and even cricket balls if you modified it. It was devastating, it could at 50 yards punch a hole through three of the old style wooden grocery boxes placed back to back. I think that it was a GI Joe toy called the Sonic Cannon. Can anyone recall this so called toy? Rick-p
dazza 38 Posted January 23, 2011 Posted January 23, 2011 Hi Rick, I do not remember the Bazooka, but i do remember the orange cannon made with DWV fittings, ignition medium used was hair spray. Anyway great fun. Also the spud gun was popular in the seventies. PS- Beware of the consquences, if caught, using any of the above.
