Hi

Can anybody tell me if a tryke wing from airbourne would fit in a seacontainer? the wing would be on a trolly nose down (same position as when attaching to the tryke for rigging

Thanks

IIRC "standard" containers are 8' wide by 8' high - I think that would make the diagonal dimensions perilously close to the wing keel length even if the the wing was at the optimal angle (which I doubt it would be when resting on the base bar). I've never seen it done (though that doesn't prove it can't be) but I'd just derig it - its not hard or overly time consuming.

Cheers

I've often considered hanging trike wings from their nose in a hangar with the nose wires released and the A-Frame folded back against the keel. That could work particularly well with topless wings. It'd be like a big wardrobe.
