Guest burbles1 Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 When I was a landcare coordinator a few years ago, I was involved in the Clifton Pest and Weed Expo in the Darling Downs. The first thing that the coordinator did was to buy a domain name and set up a dedicated website, because it was a useful tool for getting industry sponsorship. It had lots of photos and a calendar of events, speakers, trade displays, etc. A local web designer did the work, which ensured that they got the community onside right from the start. This has to be a priority for future NatFly events.
drifterdriver Posted April 20, 2011 Posted April 20, 2011 No arguements about the domain name etc. On the upside, our new magazine editor, Brian Bigg will be at Natfly gathering material for the next edition, which will be his first. He has been a member for many years, is keen to hear what the members want and will certainly raise the standard. He's a redhead so he shouldn't be too hard to spot. If you run into him be sure to ask about "Big Brother". Nick
