Wings and Wheels at the Old Station.

 

28-29 May.

 

Vintage machinery, Trucks, Tractor pulling and of course aeroplanes.

 

Clyde cameron band on Saturday night.

 

Proceeds go to Helicopter rescue service.

 

Camping $20 per site.

 

Entry fee $5 p.p. per day. I don't know for sure but that probably only applies to raod access.

 

Licenced bar and food available all weekend.

The camping fee and the entry fees are separate. The entry fee will be collected by Capricorn Rescue Helicopter Service and the camping is to Old station Flying Club. But it is still an affordable weekend and I am sure it will have plenty of interest to pilots.

I have just had an update on the Old Station fly in.

 

Aviators flying in will not be expected to pay camping fees or daily entrance fees. they are there to catch those driving in who bring all their needs with them. There will be people from Capricorn rescue Helicopter seeking donations. the Old station club and Creed family will be organising food and the bar.
