ave8rr Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 Any ideas as to where this airstrip is on the North Qld coast?

frank marriott Posted March 27, 2011 Posted March 27, 2011 A fee of $150.00 (inclusive of GST) is payable for each landing. This fee is waived for guests staying at either Dunk Island or Bedarra Island resorts. The landing fee is very high. BUT as per the second line - NO landing fee for resort guests - This is to keep the island for their guests and not have visitors who are not spending money at their resort. Under new management now but you could fly-in for a great lunch and have the landing fee taken off the cost of lunch. Obviously need a little larger then a 2 seater to make this an affordable lunch. After repairs this will probably be available again. Frank
ave8rr Posted March 27, 2011 Author Posted March 27, 2011 Thanks to you ALL for your help in this one. That photo appeared in a write up by the Brooke brothers from Brissy who submitted a story about their CH701's to Zenair some years back. http://www.zenithair.com/stolch701/7-photo-brooks.html Mike
