OzRunways Maps Update

We've been busy bodies lately. This is just a teaser of what to expect. We're still working full speed on polishing it for release. ETA Between Apr & Jun 2011.

To simplify pricing, we are going to offer ERSA+Maps together (like a VFR/recreational package) and an All-in-one (Maps, ERSA, DAPS, AIP). Pricing has yet to be finalised but it will be around the current pricing. We've had to take a hit with Apple now taking 30% so we won't be able to reduce prices any more than this. You will be able to "balance" your subscription so all the dates line up when we introduce the "MAPS" subscription.

Android update - sorry but this has been put on the backburner. Our Android guy is still finishing up a paid project. We'll update on his progress when he starts developing as I know a lot of you are keen on this still. ETA unknown, and it will probably only have the ERSA/DAPS to start with and progress from there.

Choose maps from this screen.

GPS mode - flight planning may not be fully implemented in the first version but we'll be working on it. Import & export flight plans to/from NAIPS for iPhone/iPad. Horizontal terrain view to see what is ahead of the aircraft track.

BOM Radar popup.

Awesome work, i was waiting for the maps function to come in but couldn't wait so just got the ersa function the other day, direct from the website (avoiding apple fees). Will I be able to access the maps function when it is realeased through my current subscription?

Keep up the great work, this functionality is really leaping ahead in leaps and bounds and only serves to provide more information to pilots to safely plan trips etc.
