Australian Launch of the EKP5 at NatFly

Some great news...Recreational Flying has been chosen to launch in Australia the GPS that will revolutionise the whole GPS market with the new Avmap EKP5...we will have the International Demo Model, that is being flown straight to us to have on display at NatFly.

 

There will also be a coupon special for this unit when stocks arrive very soon.

 

It has been all the rage at airshows around the world and you will be able to see it in the flesh at the Recreational Flying tent, plus we will have the great GeoPilot2+ and smaller budget priced GPS units at prices never seen before.

Are ALL the functions quoted for the EKP-V available for use in Oz Ian?...especially "Predicted Airspace" "Obstacles" etc or are we going to get a hobbled version in Oz?

Predicted Airspace is already in the GeoPilot2+ but I am not sure about Obstacles...will check up for you...the only thing that I know that is not included is the "Real Time Weather" but here is an interesting feature:

 

"Exchange Waypoints, FlightPlans and Tracks data between the navigator and Google Earth™"

 

 

 

This is already in the GeoPilot2+ and will be available in the next software update of the EKP4 as well
