Guernsey Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 When you do your first flight, could you please take a lap top to the airfield and post on this forum IMMEDIATELY after landing and before any celebrations, cups of coffee or bottles of champagne. We shall ALL be sitting next to our computers waiting for the good news. No pressure Pud. Alan Marriette. The Pudster Thruster 2
sfGnome Posted August 29, 2011 Posted August 29, 2011 When you do your first flight, could you please take a lap top to the airfield and post on this forum IMMEDIATELY after landing... Why wait until after landing? Surely streaming video from in the circuit is required... Seriously Pud, your one-step-at-a-time attitude is fantastic. I think it's like slow food - the wait is longer but the result is totally worth it! 1
pudestcon Posted August 29, 2011 Author Posted August 29, 2011 Glad to see all this pressure to perform is not getting to you Pud....the consummate safe aviator. However, when you DO fly it we want video! We don't care what it takes, we need video! Cheers, Peter I took some video last weekend - jeez I gotta practise for the big moment!!!! Have to get a tripod that's for sure, for the ground shots. I have a little Mino Flip that I will try and set up in the cockpit. Then I gotta get persuasive with the real Gaygirl to have her edit the video results for posting here. Pud
pudestcon Posted August 29, 2011 Author Posted August 29, 2011 Unlike fast food where you always end up wishing you'd waited. Heartburn as well eh? Pud
pudestcon Posted August 29, 2011 Author Posted August 29, 2011 streaming video from in the circuit is required...quote] As long as that is all that is streaming from the circuit!!! Pud
winsor68 Posted August 30, 2011 Posted August 30, 2011 Congratulations Pud... when did you start this project? It seems like just yesterday when I first starting following this but I reckon it would be a couple of years at least in reality...
pudestcon Posted August 30, 2011 Author Posted August 30, 2011 Stagefright, Pud? Nah, just thought the comment fitted.... Well just a bit maybe:wink: Pud
pudestcon Posted August 30, 2011 Author Posted August 30, 2011 Congratulations Pud... when did you start this project? It seems like just yesterday when I first starting following this but I reckon it would be a couple of years at least in reality... I reckon it was April 2009 when we shook hands on the deal with the agreement being delivery in November - gonna be close too, only a couple of years late!!! Pud
pudestcon Posted September 9, 2011 Author Posted September 9, 2011 You know, I hesitate to say this (again), but I reckon tomorrow might be the day I get to sit in the left seat and take the weight off the wheels:oh yeah: The test pilot has about an hour to do at height, then all things being ok...... Well I've said it before but buggar it, I'll say it again - "Here we go!!" Pud 1
Guest davidh10 Posted September 9, 2011 Posted September 9, 2011 Hope you have good weather and no more unpleasant discoveries. Up, up and away, Pud :-)

pudestcon Posted September 10, 2011 Author Posted September 10, 2011 YESSS!!!:thumb_up::thumb_up::thumb_up: I knew it was a good omen when I read all your good wishes this morning. I now have 1.6 hours in MY airplane, and don't it feel good:rilla::rilla::rilla: She flys very well with no unpleasant characteristics. It took me a little while to get back into the groove, seeing as how it was June last year the last time I flew a Thruster. Went with the instructor for a few circuits until he was satisfied I still 'had it'. I need a few more hours of circuit bashing to get real confident but I'm up for it:laugh: I've got a couple of video clips I need to edit and I'll post the end result here if somebody tells me how to go about doing it. One very happy puppy:thumb up: Pud PS The bloody gate takings were miserable!! A couple of old geezers snuck in the back way without paying and that was it!! 2
