Guernsey
No pressure Pud. To avoid an embarasing mass fly-in we have chartered just ONE A380 Airbus from Adelaide which is filling fast. Alan Marriette.

It would be one for Youtube watching an A380 land on the Northam airstrip - 900m at a pinch. Pud

pudestcon
Just found out the water temp gauge is rooted, so a new one will be going in on Saturday. I don't think the weather is going to play ball for test flying, but should get the run in process done.

turboplanner
Don't worry Pud, she's a long way from Perth and Tony couldn't ride there judging by his horse skills this week. I just tell people they eat their young over in WA, and they give me a blank look and go to Bali instead.
pudestcon
Latest instalment...... The engine is run in and I took the T500 for a taxi on the strip - felt good too!! A little tail wheel shimmy though so we'll sort that. Problems though, tacho is still "hunting" around the place so will use one from another Thruster until we decide what to do. Water temp gauge is reading hot (80c) so need to check earthing connections including screw in of sender to the head.. One of the EGT senders is faulty so Ian is sorting that for me, should have it before the weekend. The test pilot is doing some high speed taxis tomorrow and depending on how that goes, maybe get it in the air. I won't be there to see it though:crying: Another complication too... I've "blown" the left shoulder (x-ray tomorrow) so no flying for me this weekend. There's always something eh? Pud
sseeker
Damn that sucks pud :( Bet that would've hurt a fair bit. It's all coming together. Don't forget to tell me when you're gonna be flying her!
