Guest ozzie Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 PEARL Set in 1920's rural Oklahoma, Pearl is the inspiring and true story of Chickasaw aviatrix, Pearl Carter Scott, the youngest licensed pilot in American history. This is a real feel good story suitable for the whole family. The true story of a determined young girl of 12 who with the help of Wiley Post learns to fly and becomes a commercial pilot and barnstorming celebrity before she reaches adulthood. PEARL has stunning flying scenes with great cinematography in splendid period settings, well scripted and acted. It is a shame you won't find this down at your local video store. A two disc set with the usual cast and crew commentary, deleted scenes and music video "Just One Dream" make this a must have for your collection. Rather refreshing after all the 'I feel the need ' that seems to be hitting the screens Receives a "two thumbs up" from Ozzie. More info here http://www.pearlthemovie.net/

Kenchhidu Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 It is a shame you won't find this down at your local video store. Maybe Ian will get it for the Store... Along with A Pilots Story and Acro Camp.
