Mackay777 Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Does someone know how heavy the main landing alum. spar of a zodiac or similar aircraft is? Thank's
PapaFox Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Don't think we ever weighed ours, but it is rather heavy. I'd rather that than it being too fragile, though. It should be possible to work out the mass by it's dimenstions, not that I have them here with me either. Not much help am I:cheezy grin:
terryc Posted May 24, 2011 Posted May 24, 2011 Does someone know how heavy the main landing alum. spar of a zodiac or similar aircraft is?Thank's Hi Mackay777, the weight of the 701 is 18'1 lbs. It's made of 7075-T6 aluminum
techie49 Posted May 31, 2011 Posted May 31, 2011 I seem to remember the 601 landing gear weighs about 45lbs. That's just the metal w/o the brakes and wheels.........................
wanabigaplane Posted June 3, 2011 Posted June 3, 2011 I concur. I was surprised just how heavy the bare metal bow was, so I weighed it. 20 Kg! :strong:Jack.
