Thanks guys, you can check out the other video to see a bit of the fly-in, and my departure flight.

Pud, yeah I hadn't flown this aircraft for a few months and came in a bit high, a gentle side slip worked well.

Nice video Tomo

Just a quick question re the lack of head set in the vid, I did notice what appeared to be a plastic tube from the back of your cap?

Cheers John

Great stuff Tomo! What was the big biplane you went on?

That's a good little video setup you've got there! Is it on some sort of sprung arm mechanism? It seems to move slightly with the aircraft!

(Edit) Oops, just saw the same question and answer in the other thread!

Good hold off technique as well, keeping that nose up.

Yeh, nice vid Tomo, but you shoulda washed behind your right ear before filming it 008_roflmao.gif.692a1fa1bc264885482c2a384583e343.gif

As Pud said, nice side slip, love doing them myself.

John: The tube you saw is part of my headset... which is a Halo from Quiet Technologies - I like it because I don't even know it's on half the time, and it is clear as a bell! Plus you can wear an Akubra hat or something like that 004_oh_yeah.gif.82b3078adb230b2d9519fd79c5873d7f.gif

Evan: The biplane I went in was an Antonov AN2 - awesome sound! And was great fun!

David: Haha, yeah musta been! 003_cheezy_grin.gif.c5a94fc2937f61b556d8146a1bc97ef8.gif Thanks, I try and hold off as much as possible, usually touching down with the stall horn on half the time.

Doug: Yeah sorry about that! 006_laugh.gif.0f7b82c13a0ec29502c5fb56c616f069.gif Just another way of descending a bit quicker I suppose, I don't really think much about them, it just happens if I need it! 080_plane.gif.36548049f8f1bc4c332462aa4f981ffb.gif

And thanks everyone for your comments, appreciated.

Yes! There's a video that makes one feel they are there with you. What camera did you use? it has excellent 'resiliance' to vibration. My Panasonic is rubbish so I now use a Contour HD. I especially liked the landing.

J170: thanks mate, it's a HDR Sony, there's a link and a bit of info on my other post over Here

Motz: haha, no I don't do it often, and not in the Jabs... more effective in a low wing bubble canopy style
