Guest Jake.f Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Looks like a lot of fun!!! Does the minimum altitude of 500' unless taking off or landing apply to aerochutes?

Yes - but of course with property owners permission, you could have a large area where you land, I suppose, and practise your "approaches". Peter
Guest Jake.f Posted September 26, 2011 Posted September 26, 2011 Ahh I see... Aerochuting or powered paragliding is definitely on the bucket list!
Suitman Posted September 26, 2011 Author Posted September 26, 2011 Jake, It really is quite fun flying about 3" above the ground, following a twisty set of (car) tyre tracks. Then the "slow" (60 - 70 km/hr) seems quite fast! Peter
