Looks like a lot of fun!!! Does the minimum altitude of 500' unless taking off or landing apply to aerochutes?

Yes - but of course with property owners permission, you could have a large area where you land, I suppose, and practise your "approaches". 022_wink.gif.2137519eeebfc3acb3315da062b6b1c1.gif

Ahh I see... Aerochuting or powered paragliding is definitely on the bucket list!

It really is quite fun flying about 3" above the ground, following a twisty set of (car) tyre tracks. Then the "slow" (60 - 70 km/hr) seems quite fast!

yes i do, but do most of my flying out of Hopetoun Airport, thats where my trike is hangered.
