planedriver
Oh bother! or words to that effect, must have forgotton to lower the gear. Never skimp on the pre-landing checks.
Guest rocketdriver
Could be .... but prop blades bent back usually means no power at the landing (I think ... they pull forward if power is being delivered at impact don't they? .....) Also the undeside looks a bit grubby but not very bent ..... could it have been an off airfield landing with the gear deliberately left up to avoid ripping it off and tipping over? Guest davidh10
Maybe not much power, but the prop was turning, or not all the blades would be bent.
Owi
I'd wager a soft/grass field landing and he hit a dip or rise in the ground.

True, but isn't that what turbines do unless a brake is applied? .... actually just had another look ... are the blades feathered? motzartmerv
Prop looks fully fine, so probably not a forced landing.
facthunter
They are not feathered, The blades go into feather on shutdown every time, on these motors. They are free spool engines. Might have run into bogggy ground. Nev
Ultralights
prop blades will almost always fold backwards when it comes to a strike, as the aircraft is usally moving forward at the time.
Gnarly Gnu
No big deal, just a bit of panel-beating will fix that prop!
motzartmerv
Just start it up and go to full power, that will straighten it out..
Guest rocketdriver
top right blade has been revolving with a little power....bottom right hit the turf with less power ....and the 2 on the left got bent as they hit the turf with no power.... Very good ... I believe you!
